New Faces for the New Year
Over the last half year there has been quite a flux in the Cranedale tutors. We would like to celebrate those moving on to new exciting challenges with a bit of a summary of what they’re doing, and give a warm welcome to the new tutors enthusiastically bringing their skills to the melting pot.
Francesca Pert has moved on to become a AONB officer for the Howardian Hills in the local area; so she remains tethered to the beauty of the local landscape, but now she is looking after it! Amy Ottway is doing well in her PGCE training at Cambridge University and will soon become a fully fledged teacher. Lets just hope she manages to take her classes outdoors a few times a year, that way they will see her in her natural environment. Finally Hannah Griffiths has taken her field studies onto the next level and is currently busy in the Amazon collecting data for her PhD with Lancaster University. Congratulations and the best of luck to all of you!
We have been joined by Sarah Harrop, Andrew Storey and Christopher Cassells all coming to us with prior teaching experience and a wealth of knowledge in their respective fields. Now that the new tutors have had a chance to settle the rejuvenated Cranedale tutor team look forward to teaching in the new 2012 season.
